The roundabout project started in Switzerland in 2000. After six years, which were divided into three project phases, roundabout was embedded into the regular range of the Blue Cross Youth activities. Today ten women (around five full-time jobs) work for roundabout in Switzerland. They coach and educate the volunteer group leaders and continue to found new groups.

In 2005 roundabout started in Namibia. The circumstances aren't comparable to European countries, but roundabout still is there!

In 2006 roundabout started in Sweden. Today two project leaders work for roundabout and the groups are growing fast!

For every national roundabout network we search...

• ... talented young women as volunteer group leaders. We offer training, education and support.
• ... local organisations such as churches, municipalities (youth work) or parents associations which are responsible for their group, support the leaders and care for the local networking.
• ... financial supporters.
